♥ Three random topics.
MY "HAPPINESS" SINGLE CAME IN THE MAIL TODAYYYYYYYY. OMG, I thought that they looked incredibly beautiful in the scans of the cd cover and backing, but they looked even BETTER on the actual thing. I've been waiting for this stupid thing since the fourth. Tonnu is a happy fangirl. ^^♥ (PS; Do the pictures look familiar? xD)

Regarding the list for "Japanese That Make Japan Proud", the official list came out. I believe there was 2000 different people to vote from.

For the men (in blue), Ichiro, the outfielder for the Mariners, got number one by a landslide. Ken Watanabe got number two, which surprised me because I didn't know that he was that big in Japan. On to the important person though. See number nine? The kanji stands for Ninomiya Kazunari. Keke ^^. He's the youngest one on the list too, out of both men and women. Awesome. This is only going to inflate his already over-confident self-esteem. Harhar, nonetheless, omedetou Kazu-kun♥.
This got me thinking. Nino got on the list because of "Letters From Iwo Jima" and it's success overseas. Does that mean that if "Kiiroi Namida" had made the cut for the Canne's Film Festival and won, Arashi, as a whole, would've been on the list too? Ah, that would've been the best. Too bad they didn't ^^;; Sighhh, I want to buy that movie. Too bad it's $75..
Which brings me on to my third subject. Japanese cds and movies are so fricking overpriced! The "Happiness" single? About $15. For three songs. $15 buys you a full cd here in the US. The "Time" CD? About $32. More expensive than a movie here. The "Kiiroi Namida", as mentioned before, is $75. The concert DVD that was released in May? $75. The concert DVD that's being released in October is $50. I'm telling you, these Japanese people are crazy. Actually, it's probably Johnny-sama who sets the price. Then again, I'm probably the crazy one for buying that stuff. I only bought/pre-ordered three of them though.
Ah, what a useless post. :]
